Warcraft Millionaire
Warcraft Millionaire is a set of downloadable PDF gold guides from Brad Johnson whose claim to fame is reaching the gold cap (214,748 gold 36 silver 47 copper) on multiple characters in World of Warcraft. What makes this product interesting Johnson's the strategy of teaching basic economics and applying it to the WoW universe and helping players use those principles to earn more gold.
The basic thrust of these guides is that by understanding the fundamental aspects of the in-game economy before trying to make large sums of gold, a player will learn which real world economic theories fit WoW and how to expect to play the game when trying to make gold. It sounded a little egghead to me when I first heard about this approach but it does make sense if your goal is to truly dominate your server's economy vs. making a few extra gold for that next mount or gear upgrade.
One facinating aspect of the Warcraft Millionaire website is the two beta tester case studies that show day by day backpack screenshots of two players (one level 1 and one level 70) as they use the Warcraft Millionaire guides to earn gold. At the end of the week, the level 1 player has accumulated over 2,476 gold and the level 70 has over 6,853 gold. Each WoW guide has their own proof of results information but I thought this presentation was very impressive.
Warcraft Millionaire comes as a set of PDF files that each focus on a different aspect of earning gold in WoW. There are gold guides for levels 1-60, 60-70, and, although it's not shown in the image above, a guide for levels 70-80 as well. Access to a private member's area is also included as are free updates to all content for life.

Consumer Comments & Complaints
I got this ebook about 3 months ago and I'm not a millionaire yet. But I did find it very useful and I have managed to get almost 125,000 gold on one server. Comment from answers.yahoo.com
My only real complaint with Warcraft Millionaire (other than the annoying video on the home page that automatically plays when you hit the site) is that alot of it is about making gold with the auction house. I'm not really into the AH so it could have been better for me. Comment from www.feedage.com
I bought this guide about 6 weeks back and am very impressed with it. I've bought numerous gold guides before and have this say this is by far the best. I was never really good with gold but this guide has really opened my eyes! I went from 200 gold on my level 55 hunter to nearly 2k after the first week or so, so yeah, I'd recommend this guide! Comment from answers.yahoo.com
The guide is much different than the other ones I’ve seen before. First, it is written by the game's first self-professed millionaire - something that was relatively hard to believe until I saw the video of him showcasing his multiple characters at the gold cap. The guide is extremely well written. A lot of times, you'll find that game guides are written by someone who clearly didn't spend much time awake during English classes in school. Well organized, well thought out and broken up into neat, easy to read sections, World of Warcraft Millionaire is a pleasure to read. Comment from wow.mielus.ro

Player Commentary
So a friend of mine decided to try WOW with the ten day trial. I rolled a like character to help him out. I decided to let him run the game with myself as a helper. What I noticed was how much time was wasted by not following the guide. Truly incredible. Seriously, the running around, the not knowing where to go, the lack of add ons really inhibited his playing exoperience. I tried to explain this to him, alas, with most things in life, this person has to learn through experience. Just an example: he was on for three days, don't know how many hours, and reached level five. I rolled a new character, followed Dugi's guide and was at level 10 in two hours! Now those of you who have read my posts, that I'm kind of slow plodding player...so this is a perfect example of how the guide can clearly help! Just sharing....
Like all new professions with inscription it's a curve. All the power toons switch to the new field, the guys clean up for a month, then it's over staffed and prices plunge. After a while it's a mature market and will find it's own level. Mining is still the best core profession since a lot of other professions use the stuff. Then Herbalism for the Alchemy, Inscription, professions. Tailoring, Inscription, and Blacksmith goods aren't really consumed. You are dependent on new buyers. The other professions are in the middle. Not bad but not great money makers.
